WHO IS CLAIR MARLO

Have you ever heard of Michael Ruff?  Pat Coil?  Spies?  or Primal Instinct?

Then you know Clair Marlo…..

For those of you who have been in the music industry for many years know the name Clair Marlo.  For those of you who are new to the music industry you probably haven’t heard of Clair Marlo; yet it’s certain you have enjoyed some aspect of her work while you enjoyed your sound systems or in fact watched a movie or two. Clair Marlo released “Let It Go” in 1989 and “Behaviour Self” in 1995.

Several songs from each CD have become a standard benchmark in home entertainment and the car audio industry.  Her songs have been on practically on every IASCA CD since IASCA’s beginning in 1989 and; if she just happened to be not on the CD, someone that she produced, arranged or written for, was.

There are countless demo CD’s that contain a song from one of these two incredible albums, Focal, Sheffield, and Auto Sound 2000 being a few.    She has not released any of her personal work since.  Many ask “Did she just quit?” “Where did she go?”  “Why haven’t we heard from her?”  “Is there anything else she has done or worked on that I can get my hands on?”

Well, in fact there is; and you may own one of her works right now but not even realize it.  Keep reading and I’ll tell you what they are.  Let’s just say she has been invisible; but always there.

Here’s what she has been doing; Clair's first album, "Let it Go" became an audiophile classic, and went to #1 in the Far East, (elevating her to megastar status over there).  Clair Marlo has been named one of the top female record producers in the US by a leading music trade association.

She has released 10 albums as both a solo artist and with various groups, and has produced over 85 albums, including the enormous, but rewarding task of producing and arranging Harry Chapin's posthumous release, "The Last Protest Singer”.

Ever heard of Michael Ruff?  Pat Coil?  Spies? or Primal Instinct?   Yes, she was involved in producing, writing, or arranging each one of these works of art. And after so many years of producing, arranging for others
